Mos Def Sued For Being A No-Show!

That’s no way to treat your promoters!
Hip-hop star Mos Def is being sued by concert promoters REMG Entertainment after he skipped out on a gig just 24 hours before he was scheduled to perform.
REMG alleges that Mos Def, real name Dante Smith, pulled out of his gig at the Kool Haus in Toronto, Canada just one day before his scheduled slot, despite cashing a $12,500 deposit, guaranteeing his performance.
The entertainment group is claiming that he failed to return their money, and on top of that, they lost another $45,000 in “lost customers, sales, and goodwill.”
REMG Entertainment is suing the rapper for at least $57,500.
Tsk, tsk.
