One thing we all love about reality television, whether you want to admit it or not, is the fights! And boy, have there been a lot of them throughout the history of the genre! That being said, some have been far worse than others!

We are now looking back on some of the most explosive on-screen confrontations on reality TV, including the infamous brawl between CT Tamburello and Adam King and the sister showdown between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian.

Season 18 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians opened with a BANGER!
When Kylie Jenner bails on a trip to Paris with Kris Jenner, Kim calls out her sisters for not showing up for the momager. The SKIMS creator feels she and Khloé Kardashian are always there for Kris, even when they are on their death beds, in comparison to her other sisters. Kourtney, of course, gets very defensive, especially after Kim accused her of not caring about or doing anything! In fact, the Poosh creator threatened to “f**k [her] up” if she continued with that narrative! And guess what! She did!
Kourtney digs her nails into Kim to the point where she begins to bleed, which causes the pair to come to blows! They kick and slap each other in front of Khloé and Kendall Jenner! And it is all on camera! Watch (below):

In 2009, host Sharon Osbourne and contestant Megan Hauserman were filming Rock of Love: Charm School when one of the wildest fights in early reality TV history went down. Megan started hurling intense insults about Sharon’s husband, Ozzy Osbourne, after the host told her she shouldn’t procreate because one of her is enough. And we all know there is one thing you shouldn’t do when it comes to Sharon: go after her family!
After Megan’s low blow insults about the rocker came out of her mouth, the television personality stood up and proceeded to cough and pretend to sip a drink before pouring it over her co-star’s head. What ensued was a massive on-stage scuffle that required security to get involved. Then Megan went to the hospital and filed a police report with the Los Angeles Police Department. She also sued Sharon for battery and emotional distress, accusing the former America’s Got Talent judge of hitting her, pulling her hair, and scratching her. Sharon then countersued, claiming Megan assumed the risk of injury while on Charm School and breached her agreement. She also accused Megan of starting the incident for publicity. Ultimately, they settled the legal battle before the trial began. Watch the cat fight (below):
Teresa Giudice cemented herself as a legend in the Bravo universe — all because of her famous table flipping moment while fighting co-star Danielle Staub in Season 1 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey! Here’s what happened!
During the finale, Danielle confronted the cast in front of all the other husbands and kids at a restaurant for gossiping about a tell-all book written by her ex-husband about her criminal past. And when Tre got involved in the argument, all hell broke loose! She interjected, saying that “something in that book has to be true.” A frustrated Danielle yelled at Teresa to “pay attention,” and explained that only two things are correct in the book — her name change and the arrest. However, Giudice didn’t like how Danielle talked to her! She slammed her hands on the table, screaming:
“Obviously, there has to be something else. It’s not just name change and arrested. There has to be something else. … You were stripping. Prostitution whore! You were f**king engaged 19 times! You f**king stupid b**ch!”
Teresa then flipped the table, knocking food and wine as she continued to go off at a now-shocked Danielle! See the heated incident (below):
All because of an anonymous note! During Season 2 of Jersey Shore, Jennifer “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote a letter to Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola that her boyfriend, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, had cheated on her. They went into the situation with good intentions, but the idea turned out to be a bad one! And it led to one of the most infamous fights at the shore!
When JWoww went to confront Angelina Pivarnick about talking trash about her, Sammi got involved and started shouting at her over the note. The argument soon escalated into them pulling hair, slapping, punching, and throwing things at each other! There was even blood! It got so nasty the boys had to step in (though Ron and Vinny Guadagnino also almost started a fight between them). Oh, and Ronnie and Snooki got into a screaming match. It was a mess! When living with Tanisha Thomas, it’s best to remember to clean up after yourself! She wasn’t happy when her roommates left the house a complete mess one evening and had to tidy the space herself, and she made sure everyone knew it too! Grabbing the pots and pans from the kitchen, Tanisha walked around the house banging the cookware and singing loudly, “I didn’t get no sleep cause of y’all. Y’all not gonna get no sleep cause of me.” IYKYK! And naturally, this led to an explosive fight with her housemates!
At least we got one of the best memes ever out of this debacle!
For the longest time, the Real World franchise had an unofficial “no fighting policy.” If anyone from the cast got into a physical fight, they’d usually get kicked off the show. However, that policy went out the window when it came to Avery Tressler and Nia Moore during The Real World: Portland in 2013. Nia butted heads with everyone in the house that season, but especially Avery and her boyfriend, Johnny Reilly. However, things escalated when she started going after Johnny with her fists before opting for something else after he walked away: a blow dryer.
The second Nia found Johnny again, she slammed the dryer on him! And without hesitation, Avery stepped in to defend her man! She began throwing punches and pulling Nia’s hair extensions! The other roommates tried to break up the fight, but both women refused to back down. The brawl then continued, as Nia later punched Avery in the back of the head. Damn! Despite coming to blows, however, Nia didn’t get booted from the house! No, she got to stay! And in the end, Johnny and Avery, along with their dog Daisy, decided to leave and stay at a hotel for the rest of the season.
Guess this is what can happen in the real world…
While many may expect us to pick Scamanda as the biggest fight to go down on Summer House, we actually have another one in mind! During Season 6 of the Bravo show in 2022, tension arose in the house due to a love triangle involving Ciara Miller, Lindsay Hubbard, and Austen Kroll. The Southern Charm star started to pursue Ciara during the spinoff Winter House — despite his ongoing “friends with benefits” situation with Lindsay. Fast forward to the summer, and Austen is in the Hamptons house with the two women. Lindsay ended up making out with him during her birthday, which upset Ciara!
They got into it during a group dinner at the house. But how is Danielle Olivera involved? Well, she stuck up for her bestie Lindsay! And the second Ciara stood up over the table to scream in Danielle’s face for “disregarding” her feelings for Austen, things exploded! Both women began screeching at each other and throwing wine glasses! Yep, the wine went flying! It became so intense that production had to step in to separate the pair! Danielle later claimed to Us Weekly that she even ended up with bruises on her chest:
“After the wine was thrown, she threw the wine glass and it shattered on my chest. I’m like, ‘What the f—k? Like, are you kidding me?’ And so, the truth is the next day, I saw bruises — like I had bruises — but Craig [Conover], who was there that weekend, he was, like, ‘Oh my God, I pulled you away that hard.’ … No, the bruises were because of that wine glass that she threw at me and shattered on my chest bone. I’m not OK. I’m not OK about it.”

CT is lucky producers allowed him back on other seasons of The Challenge after his bloody fight with Adam! When they arrived on Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel II, CT overheard rumors that Adam told his girlfriend, Diem Brown, that he hooked up with fellow competitor Shavon Torres.
Well, The Traitors alum was PISSED! He tracked down Adam and clocked him in the face! And they went at each other! The producers and cast members struggled to keep them separated! CT even punched a massive hole in the door to try to get to Adam! And it got to the point where they couldn’t hold them back any longer! Outside the house, CT’s fists went flying at Adam again, screaming, “I will smash his head in and eat it.” Yikes! In the end, both men were left a bloodied mess. CT also got kicked out of the house. Name a more explosive Dance Moms moment than the fight between Kelly Hyland and Abby Lee Miller? We’ll wait… We bet you can’t come up with anything because there isn’t anything!
The two women came at each other over Kalani Hilliker‘s arrival on the show. Kelly wasn’t happy with the way Abby was treating and seemingly replacing her daughters, especially when the dance teacher yelled at Brooke Hyland to “grow the hell up” for letting her mom speak for her. Mind you, she was only 15 years old. She is still a child. And this is how another adult is speaking to her. Ick. Kelly reached her breaking point by then, and she fired back at Abby to “shut the hell up.” They began shouting at each other, with Abby getting up from her seat to point her finger in Kelly’s face, which she did NOT like! The mom gave it right back to Abby! And the teacher responded by pretending to bite her finger, and that’s when all hell broke loose! Kelly smacked the instructor across the face, pulled her hair, and screamed at her to “get away from me.” And we got the iconic line, “You’re eating my face.”
The fight resulted in Abby filing a police report against Kelly, and Brooke and Paige Hyland left Abby’s studio and the show. Watch the showdown (below):
The slap heard all the way at SUR! Things got heated between Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute after the former found out her best friend banged her ex-boyfriend, Jax Taylor, not once but twice! And one of those hookups happened while Kristen’s boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was in the other room! Of course, Stassi is furious and concocts a plan to confront Kristen while at a bar. Doute denied everything, calling Jax a liar. The two women screen at each other before Stassi full-on backhands Kristin in the face in front of everyone! She then throws a drink at Kristin, who lunges for the Vanderpump Villa star’s extensions! They end up rolling off the sofas in the midst of their fight and onto the floor until they are pulled apart.
Yeesh!
Kristen later admits she lied and did sleep with Jax. Naturally, their friendship ended… for a while. Watch the intense confrontation (below):
