This incident has been coined as “dodgeball rage.”
A 27-year-old woman and mom from Milwaukee, named Dominique Jude, faces criminal charges for allegedly starting a fight with a TWELVE-YEAR-OLD after the child had hit her in the face with a dodgeball!
The incident happened at an indoor trampoline park called Sky Zone. It was at that spot, located in Waukesha, where she was struck in the face with a dodgeball, and also witnessed her own son get hit in the same spot!
Witnesses then claim the woman went over to the dodgeball thrower, and began to curse him out while “yelling for the other people in the dodgeball area to hit the child with dodgeballs in the face.”
But the mother claims the whole situation is being blown out of proportion! She admits to grabbing the child, and asking how he’d like to be hit in the face, but says she was just protecting her own child.
She’s also critical of the place itself for allowing her and her son to get hit in the face. Although we’re not sure how it’s their fault. That’s dodgeball.
Seriously.
We’re not saying it’s cool to hit someone in the face with a dodgeball, but that’s always going to be a possibility when you willingly participate in that sport. Because it’s dodgeball.
The incident have been semi in proportion, despite what the mother says, since she was charged with criminal disorderly conduct.
Dominique Jude, if convicted, faces up to 90 days in jail.
If that happens, her face may be in further risk, but it won’t be from any dodgeball!
