The economy has not been nice to Mickey Mouse and crew either.
According to reports, the newest quarterly results were down for Disney.
On Thursday, the company reported a sharp decline in hotel bookings and ‘softness’ in advertising revenue at its various media networks.
Disney’s shares went on to slide 9 percent down through the day, but recovered a bit after the suits said they’d discount stays at Walt Disney World to stimulate bookings in the first half of 2009.
We thought Disney was doing OK!
Maybe they’re not counting the loads of film money that the chihuahuas and Zefron just made for the Mouse in those reports?
We hope the shitty economy doesn’t get any worse!!!
