MTV Orders SIX New Shows To Their Lineup

It’s pretty safe to stay that MTV has nothing to do with music anymore, right?

The network has just ordered SIX new shows, two scripted and four reality, to their upcoming lineup.

On the scripted side, we have Underemployed, a series that takes a comedic look at the post-college generation who are trying to get ahead in today’s economy. The second show, Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, stars comedian and viral video dude Bo Burnham as a man who drops out of a college and hires a documentary crew to film him as he tries to get famous.

MTV’s four new reality shows include Catfish, a show that will bring couples together who have only interacted with each other online, WakeBrothers about pro wakeboard Philip Soven and his brother, Wait Till Next Year, a show about a high school football team trying to break their 5-year losing streak, and finally, Hoods, a show about celebs who go back to where they grew up. You know, like Cribs. Except, it’s called Hoods.

Are U excited for MTV’s new lineup??
