This is GREAT to hear!!
As we previously mentioned, Mumford & Sons announced that they would be canceling a few of their upcoming shows, as their bandmate Ted Dwane recovers from emergency surgery for a blood clot on the surface of his brain.
Well, it sounds like things are looking up, as the bass player’s father John says he has regained consciousness and is showing signs of improvement:
“It’s been terribly worrying – but he’s come round fine and we’re just glad about that and that he’s safe. We’re all really relieved.”
The band mentioned that they had no plans to cancel anymore concerts past this Thursday, so if he continues to recover at this rate, it looks like Bonnaroo attendees will get the Mumford & Sons concert they were hoping for this Saturday!
We’re so glad to hear Ted is doing well following his surgery, and hopefully he’ll be back on his feet and rocking in no time!
