We’re surprised this one didn’t come sooner!
My Little Pony is likely coming back to TV on the new cable channel for kids by Discovery-Hasbro after being put on the fast-track for development by Hasbro Studios.
Several other Hasbro brands may also appear on the kids’ channel, but after the special My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure aired on the Disney Channel to strong ratings the franchise has become a top priority.
“The runaway success of My Little Pony on the Disney Channel affirms our belief in the long-term value of this project,” Hasbro Studios president Stephen Davis explained.
And with a TV show comes a video game naturally and other “digital extensions.”
