Myka Stauffer Now Claims 'Multiple Scary Things Happened... Towards Our Other Children' Which Necessitated Adoption Move

Myka Stauffer now says there were other incidents which led to Huxley's rehoming...

The social media firestorm surrounding popular vlogger Myka Stauffer isn’t going away any time soon…

As we’ve been reporting, the YouTuber and her husband James controversially placed their adopted Chinese son Huxley in the care of another family — a decision met with skepticism from many online who wondered whether they had used the boy for video content up until his behavior became inconvenient for their lifestyle.

The Stauffers have already clapped back at some of those assertions through their lawyers, but now Myka is apparently taking things into her own hands down in the comments section. (We know, we know…)

Just days after first posting the infamous viral YouTube clip explaining their decision to give up on Huxley, the video’s view count is nearing 2.5 million, and thousands have taken to the comment section to offer their opinions. According to Us Weekly, Myka herself has reacted to a few comments — and is saying some interesting things.

Revealing more about her family’s decision to “rehome” Hux, the embattled mom reportedly responded to one fan with an interesting (and vague) anecdote about “scary things” happening “towards our other children” and somehow involving Huxley:

“We would never just give up a child with special needs, this is a personal matter to Hux. It had nothing to do with he just had Autism. Multiple scary things happened inside the home towards our other children, and if these events happened with one of my biological kids, after all the help and after the behaviors we witnessed sadly we would have no other choice then to seek help and get their needs met.”

Hmmm… sounds vague, and also very concerning?! So many questions…

First adopted by the family from China back in 2017, Huxley was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder level 3 as a toddler; he’d previously also battled a brain cyst and a brain tumor, so things have never been easy for the poor adorable little guy.

Even knowing all that, Myka still tried to use the comment section to explain her decision to re-home the boy, even going so far as to say it’s what he wanted:

“Huxley wanted this decision 100%. We saw that in family time with other people, he constantly chose them and signed with and showed tons of emotion to show us and let us know he wanted this. Huxley never had a say in his adoption, and he needed more help and also wanted this and we know that 100%.”

Uhh, so your 3-year-old son secretly wanted to live with another family, and that’s how he told you?! We thought 3-year-olds were just kinda friendly with whomever when they wanted to play… huh. What do we know?!

Seriously, though, what do U make of these bizarre comments, Perezcious readers?! Is there some truth to them — could “multiple scary things” have happened to necessitate the move?? Or are the Stauffers just trying to shift blame and turn off the heat??
