Nancy Guthrie Disappearance: Money Sent To Bitcoin Account Attached To Ransom Note -- Details!

Activity In Nancy Guthrie Bitcoin Account

There was a LOT of movement in the Nancy Guthrie case on Tuesday night! Not only was someone detained in connection with her disappearance, but there was activity in the Bitcoin account attached to the ransom notes!

TMZ‘s Harvey Levin was the first to share that his team noticed there was activity in the account during a CNN interview, but he neglected to share further details. Then KGUN 9, who has also received the ransom notes, said the activity in the wallet is “less than $300.”

A source confirmed to People that a small amount of money — “hundreds of dollars,” not the alleged $6 million they were asking for (and which Savannah Guthrie previously said the family would pay) — was transmitted to the wallet.

It’s unclear who sent the money and if there’s been further developments on the account. Some have speculated this is the authorities’ way of testing to see if they can figure out who the account belongs to, particularly if the money is transferred out, which could be traced.

Seems like cops are still doing everything they can to find Nancy!

A tip line has been set up: see HERE. The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie, and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
