An ABC Exec Just Dished On The Future Of Both Nashville And Castle -- Read His Comments HERE!

Both Nashville and Castle have built loyal followings in their time over at ABC, but with questions about their respective futures looming large, it seems like only now we’re getting more insight into what’s up with these two shows!

Speaking at the 2016 Winter TCA Press Tour, ABC prez Paul Lee gave his thoughts on the two show, including being very blunt about whether it was time to wrap up Nashville:

“We don’t have any plans to finish Nashville … [The network has] no plans for Nashville other than to keep it going.”

Well then!

With Hayden Panettiere all set to return in April after her medical leave, this is the right decision!
Lee also spoke about Castle, and seemed to suggest changes were coming at a time where the show’s two main stars — Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic — are going through contract negotiations:

“We’d love for Castle to keep going for many years to come. There are a lot of conversations about how we can do that… there’s lots of good ideas in there. So I am feeling optimistic that we have a lot of good ideas.”
