Nate Bargatze SLAMMED By Fans & Fellow Comedian For Going To White House UFC Event & Posing With RFK Jr.: 'Don't Be In Photos With Fascists'

Nate Bargatze‘s fans and fellow comedians are NOT impressed with him right now!

In case you didn’t hear, the comedian attended the White House UFC event earlier this month and rubbed elbows with some MAGA Republicans. He even had some photos taken of himself with RFK Jr., Joe Rogan, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Mike Johnson, and Donald Trump Jr.‘s new wife Bettina.

It became clear that fans were NOT happy with Nate. He’s spent his whole comedy career making his political views very vague, and not really leaning to one side or the other. He was always so private about it, it shocked everyone to see him getting all buddy-buddy with these Trump supporters! And now fans are absolutely expressing their huge disappointment in the comments sections of his Instagram posts.

Some fans wrote:

“I’m out. I was a huge fan.”

“Ugh you were so funny! Such a disappointment”

“Bummer…glad I found out before I bought my tickets”

“so, you hang out with kleptocratic authoritarians now.”

“What were you thinking? You knew it would be made public. You even posed for pictures.”

“I’m so sorry I ever bought tickets to your show.”

Glad I was too late to buy tickets to your show. You hitched your wagon to the wrong horse”

“Such a huge disappointment.”

“Is this The Kid rock of comedy?”

“Really doesn’t look very good.”

“Come on man, you knew better”

“They were little girls.” [This comment seemingly references the Epstein files, and the administration’s heavily criticized handling of the files.]

“Not such a good guy after all eh? Shucks”

“Heartbroken. You were my favorite.”

“You couldn’t pay me to see this now.”

“No way, man. No way. The judgement you showed attending that event isn’t a recoverable decision.”

“It’s sad and disturbing, but good to understand where Nate Bargatze stands. He’s another one we can scratch off the list.”

“What bothers me isn’t that Nate Bargatze doesn’t curse. It’s the implication that “clean” means moral. There’s something deeply hollow about obsessing over language while remaining comfortable around people whose conduct raises serious ethical questions. Profanity might offend delicate ears; dishonesty, cruelty, and the abuse of power should offend a functioning conscience.”

Other commenters even claimed he or his team were deleting certain comments:

“they’ve been removing comments trashing him with likes in the thousands”

“I came a couple of days ago and the tops comments had thousands of likes, they are erasing them, I wonder why? Just own it brah”

The backlash didn’t stop there, though. His fellow comedian W. Kamau Bell wrote an entire SubStack article calling out him and other “MAGA-curious” celebs. In the writeup titled It Is So Easy To Not Do This, he said:

“The rules are so simple. People seem to forget them so often, so I’ve decided to write them out. The easiest way to not be photographed with fascists is to not go to places where fascists coagulate. If you do go to a place where fascists are coagulating, then you had better have a good reason… like a John Brown/Inglorious Basterds good reason.”

He continued, adding “no one cares how much you wanted to see the fights at the White House,” before captioning the photo of RFK Jr. and the “notorious nice and good guy comedian”:

“If you ever saw me in a photo with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., you be guaranteed that my family was being threatened.”

Below the image of Sarah, Joe, and Nate, he wrote:

“A photo with Rogan, I can forgive, but I wouldn’t be in a photo with that lady unless… actually, I can’t think of an ‘unless’.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Serena Williams‘ husband Alexis Ohanian were also among the celebs he called out for their “confusing” excuses for being around MAGA. Wrapping up, W. Kamau said:

“Stop being surprised when people who think you are a nice person are totally bummed out when you reveal yourself to be Team Fascism. You are smarter than that. If you’re not, then go back to the top and reread this list again.”

And, of course, Meghan McCain had to enter the conversation! On X (Twitter) Tuesday, she said:

“Respectfully, who is shocked Nate Bargatze is conservative.”

While it’s true Nate is from Tennessee, there are many, many, many Tennesseans who do NOT support MAGA, though the state’s Republican government’s effective gerrymandering there may make you think otherwise…

What do U make of this situation, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below).
