Earlier this week we told you Nate Berkus popped the question to his adorbzies boyfriend fianc├â┬⌐ Jeremiah Brent in Machu Picchu… and now we have even more JUICY engagement deets!
Nate, a talented and dashing interior designer who built a reputation designing spaces for Oprah Winfrey, spoke passionately about the depths of his love for his partner!!
He revealed:
“I’ve known since our first date that Jeremiah was who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
Awwwwww!! That’s so romantic!!!
As it turns out, though, this next step is about even more than just their love and affection for one another.
Nate continued:
“As we’ve shared the news of our engagement and been met with so much excitement and support we’re both reminded of how important it is that every person have the legal right to marry the one they love.”
Ugh! He’s 100% right!!!
Nate and Jeremiah are a wonderful couple and we’re soooo optimistic their love will blossom into a perfect marriage!
There is absolutely no reason why other couples in love should be denied the right to marry because of their gender or sexual orientation!!
One day soon we hope couples like Nate & Jeremiah will be free to marry in every state in the Union!!
