What a chaotic scene…
As we reported, over Thanksgiving weekend, Naya Rivera was arrested on November 25, 2017 for domestic battery after allegedly hitting husband Ryan Dorsey in the head and on the bottom lip while on a walk with their son Josey.
In December 2017, the Glee star filed for divorce from the actor after previously filing in November 2016.

Fast forward to Friday, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office have released new photos and details regarding their alleged altercation.
In a police report first obtained by RadarOnline.com, the responding officer says the incident began when the actress wanted to show her son and now-ex-husband “something cool.”

“Dorsey stated├óΓé¼┬ª [that] Rivera wanted to show him and their child something cool. Dorsey advised he had a strange feeling about what Rivera wanted to show them, due to the fact Rivera normally had a strict bedtime of 7:00pm for their child and it was already after 9:00pm. Dorsey began to video record with his cell phone whatever she was about to show them.”

After pointing at “stars in the sky,” Rivera reportedly “lets go of the stroller” carrying her son, where Dorsey luckily catches it.

“Rivera took the two on a walk├óΓé¼┬ª to look at the stars in the sky… Rivera attempted to show her son, who was in a stroller, the stars as well. Dorsey advised he and the child seemed to be uninterested in the sights. Rivera started pushing the stroller up a slight incline ├óΓé¼┬ª where she lets go of the stroller, causing it to roll backward toward Dorsey. Dorsey advised the stroller rolled backward approximately five feet before it reached him.”

When Dorsey “continued stating repeatedly how he couldn’t believe she had let the stroller go with their child in it,” Rivera:

“… began using profane language and yelling at him. Dorsey advised he continued pushing the stroller, not letting Rivera have control of it again. Rivera became irate and began to strike Dorsey, with a closed fist, in the face and back of the head.”

After he called 911, an officer arrived at the scene and spoke to Rivera, who “showed an abundance amount of emotions,” “struggled to keep on track with the questions being asked,” and said “Dorsey had been yelling during dinner, walking around the table in an aggressive manner while everyone was sitting,” though “the other members of the family denied this to be true.”
Additionally, her “eyes were glassy and an alcoholic odor was emanating from her person.”
Luckily, their son “was not injured during the domestic battery incident” and “there does not appear to be probable cause to substantiate any criminal charges of child neglect or child abuse.”
As reported by TMZ earlier this week, on January 12, the domestic battery charge against Rivera was dropped as Dorsey declined to go forward with his accusations.
