NBC Still Setting Olympics Ratings Records!

london-olympic-nbc-ratings-records.jpg
NBC’s prime-time coverage of the London Summer Games is still drawing record audiences.
Its overnight ratings for a Summer Games outside the U.S. are at an all-time high.
Sunday’s coverage had 21.7% of households tuned in — 2% higher than the 2008 Beijing Games.
Where NBC is really cleaning up is online.
They are live streaming all 32 Olympic sports, not only to computers, but tablets and phones as well.
The website on Sunday drew 11 million streams, about half for live action and half for archived content.
That’s an increase of about 3.4 million streams from the same day during the Beijing Games.
What’s cool is TiVo is tracking the most replayed moments during the Games.
Sunday’s top replay with TiVo users?
Team U.S.A. gymnast Aly Raisman finishing the uneven bars and her parents’ funny reaction to watching her.
We think NBC def made the right call streaming everything.
Step into the future of TV… computers!
