We knew Facebook was a phenomenon, but now it is even saving our furry friends!!
While visiting family in Maryland, Michelle Ingrodi, founder of the Charm City Rescue, came upon some neglected dogs that appeared to be trapped in an unoccupied home.
She managed to give them some food through an open window, which you can see in the video above.
Michelle then posted the video she took to Facebook and YouTube in order to get the word out!
Less than a day later, police, animal control officials and a larger animal rescue organization had intervened.
The pups were taken to Dogs Deserve Better, a shelter in Pennsylvania where they will receive medical treatment and wait to be adopted.
Michelle thanks the speed of Facebook and the internet for this quick rescue!
