Is Neil Patrick Harris really happy for Ellen DeGeneres‘ hosting stint at the Oscars 2014, or is he just making nice in hopes of getting the gig next year??!
While Ellen has been getting a LOT of praise, she’s also been fighting some serious fire for a few scandalous jokes on Sunday.
In her defense, Neil tweeted:

…so Neil might actually just be helping out a friend, but we wouldn’t be all too surprised if he was vying for a hosting spot.
You never know in Hollywood!
And there is no denying after his work with the Tony Awards that he would make the ceremony ultra entertaining!
