UPDATE 4/3/19 12:06 P.M.: According to TMZ on Wednesday, April 3, Nelly will not face criminal charges for the alleged U.K. sexual assault, as the accuser is reportedly no longer speaking to authorities.
Per law enforcement sources, the rapper will no longer be questioned, and no further action will be taken.
However, the investigation is not officially closed, and if new information comes to light, Essex Police could review it.
According to the alleged victim’s attorney, Karen Koehler, the accuser and her legal team want to focus on the federal lawsuit she filed as “Jane Doe” back in November.
“We told the Essex police we would no longer participate in their shoddy investigation and shifted our focus to the federal lawsuit where we will wait on the judge to decide that outcome.”

Nelly has landed in trouble once again.
As we reported, the rapper recently got off the hook for rape charges after the alleged victim refused to testify in court. Now, the Hot In Herre performer is facing another criminal investigation as he is being accused of sexual assault in England.
The incident is said to have gone down on December 5 (two months after the alleged tour bus rape) after his show at Cliffs Pavilion in Essex. The alleged victim claims Nelly placed his arm tightly behind her while taking a photo, before asking her to stay and talk to him in another room.

After she and her friends went to his dressing room, Nelly supposedly invited just her to yet another room next door, where she says he pulled his pants down and began masturbating. She claims he put his hands on the back of her head and shoulder, forcing her head down on his erect penis.
The victim also claims he tried to take her top off and kiss her, but she ran from the room as he called her a “cunt”.
She says she didn’t go to the cops immediately out of fear she wouldn’t be believed.
The celeb’s lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, responded to the allegations, telling TMZ:
“These allegations arose after Ms. Green amended her suit for money to include a reference to these claims. The fact that the police are investigating these claims is not new information and Nelly welcomes a thorough investigation. Nelly is confident that once investigated, these claims will be determined to be disingenuous. Nelly was accompanied by his girlfriend during this tour and she was at his side throughout. It is important that police investigate every allegation of this nature.”
