Netflix Cuts Ties With Meghan Markle's Lifestyle Brand -- What Does This Mean For As Ever Moving Forward?

Netflix has dumped Meghan Markle… well, her lifestyle brand at least!

Perezcious readers know that the streaming platform collaborated with the Duchess of Sussex in April 2025 on the launch of As Ever, which sells items such as fruit spreads, flower sprinkles, honey, wine, bookmarks, candles, and more, after the release of the series With Love, Meghan. But 11 months later, Netflix is cutting ties with Meg’s brand! A spokesperson for the streamer confirmed the news to Page Six on Friday, saying:

“Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life.”

The company isn’t completely going away, though! Meghan will just continue with As Ever “independently,” according to the spokesperson! The statement concluded:

“As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world.”

Phew! You can still get your hands on the jam when it’s not sold out! An As Ever spokesperson also told Page Six that the brand “is grateful for Netflix’s partnership through launch and our first year,” adding:

“We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own. We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more.”

Is it really about Meghan being ready to grow the business by herself, or is there another reason for Netflix’s decision to part ways? As we previously reported, With Love, Meghan is supposedly not returning for a third season due to poor ratings. Meg and Prince Harry‘s remaining projects with the streamer are also reportedly stuck in limbo at the moment. With all that in mind, it makes you wonder if Netflix is actually trying to distance itself from the Sussexes, starting with As Ever. And as an industry insider pointed out to Page Six:

“Her show did not go on so it did not make sense to continue the partnership.”

However, a source close to the matter insisted the plan always was to have As Ever running on its “own two feet” and that Netflix and Meghan will continue their supportive relationship with each other. And With Love, Meghan is apparently not over yet. The source added:

“We can expect to see seasonal specials of With Love, Meghan.”

Hmm. We’ll believe it when we see it. What are your reactions? Drop ’em in the comments!
