A family in Pershing County in Northern Nevada was found after they went missing for 2 days and survived in freezing cold temperatures!
34-year-old James Glanton and his 25-year-old girlfriend Christina McIntee took their children Evan and Chloe Glanton as well as their niece and nephew Shelby Fitzpatrick and Tate McIntee to the Seven Troughs area to play in the snow on Sunday.
However, when the family didn’t immediately return home that evening, a search party of nearly 200 people was launched to try and find them.
Temperatures in the area fell as low as 20 degrees below freezing overnight, but somehow the entire family managed to survive the harsh conditions!
Pershing County Undersheriff Thomas Bjerke and his crew were finally able to find them and says all six were in good condition:
“We have located the people. They have been taken to the hospital. They are alive and well. They are in pretty good shape.”
Well thank goodness for that!!
It’s not immediately clear how the family managed to survive and their exact conditions weren’t given, but the only detail that REALLY matters is that they all managed to survive!
