The new Al Pacino and Katie Holmes movie, The Son of No One, was the first bomb of Sundance 2011.
The crime drama, which also stars Channing Tatum, Ray Liotta, Juliette Bionche, and Tracy Morgan (WTF?) was highly anticipated as it was directed by Dito Montiel, who wrote and directed A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints – a big winner at Sundance in 2006.
An audience member said most of the room walked out before the end of the film, describing the event as an “exodus.”
Ouch.
It’s gonna be hard for this film to get a buyer now.
Too bad for Katie. She’s having a tough time and really needs a hit on her hands.
