ANOTHER Patriots Player Is Refusing To Visit The White House!

Martellus Bennett won’t be the only New England Patriot MIA from Donald Trump‘s White House!
On Monday, while riding his team’s bus, defensive back Devin McCourty texted TIME and told them he too would be absent from the White House’s celebration following their big win at the Super Bowl.

The NFL stud explained:

“I’m not going to the White House. Basic reason for me is I don’t feel accepted in the White House. With the president having so many strong opinions and prejudices I believe certain people might feel accepted there while others won’t.”

Very fair! This announcement comes shortly after his teammate Bennett expressed he would not be joining his fellow Patriots at the celebration.
McCourty hasn’t been afraid to get political in the past. After San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made headlines for kneeling during the national anthem, Devin joined in on the protest during a different game by raising his fist while the anthem played.
At the time, he told the publication:

“If you see something you feel is wrong in society, why not help out? Why not try to raise awareness?”

Hear! Hear!
With captain Tom Brady being a close pal of Drumpf’s, we think it’s pretty brave that both Bennett and McCourty are willing to take a stand. Snaps!
