Honestly, we bet tourism in Seaside Heights has gone up like 500%. Everyone should just stop their whining already! And that includes the governing bodies of both NJ and NY!
Quinnipiac University took a poll of Jersey residents to ask their stance on The Jersey Shore. The majority, at 51%, agreed the show is shit while only an alarming 11% said they were down with Snooki’s antics. Everyone one else was too busy watching reruns of the Sopranos to care.
Then, the Jerseyians were surveyed again and one-third of them sided with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and his recent insinuation that the reason that the Shore kids pAArty hAArdy is because they are actually from New York.
On the flip side, only 19 percent of New Jersey residents agreed with New York Gov. David Patterson├óΓé¼╦£s comeback to Gov. Christie – he blames the glitz, glam and grossness of Seaside Heights for the New Yorker’s behavior.
