We’re so excited to hear it!
Despite rarely releasing any new music since 1993 – other than her 2005 double album Aerial – iconic singer Kate Bush announced earlier in the year that she’d be releasing a brand new album, and now we know for what exactly we’re in store!
Called Director’s Cut, the new album will revisit classic Bush tracks from the albums The Sensual World and The Red Shoes, featuring new vocals but retaining the “best musical performances” from the original versions!
The first single, a re-visioned version of Deeper Understanding, will be released in April, with the full album dropping on May 16th!
Sounds a lot like what Tori Amos did with her compilation Tales From A Librarian! And we all know how AWESOME that was!
We cannot wait for this! We have a feeling that it’s truly going to be something special!
