Don’t worry, Desperate Housewives fans!
The series may be coming to an end this year, but creator Marc Cherry has a brand new one in the works that was just ordered to pilot for ABC! And it pretty much sounds exactly the same – except with maids, this time!
According to the one-hour drama’s logline:
“Devious Maids”
Based on the Mexican format, this soap follows four maids with ambition and dreams of their own while they work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Written and executive produced by Marc Cherry through ABC Studios. Sabrina Wind is also attached to executive produce.
Breaking that story must have been a real stretch for him, huh?
We kid! We kid!
It actually could be very different, and very good! Or at least trashy and addictive!
But we think it deserves a better title!
