We love new things!
A couple of months ago we posted the last trailer for Mortal Instrument: City of Bones, which opens August 21st, with an all-star cast of Lily Collins, her boyfriend-co-star Jamie Campbell Bower (who says mixing business with pleasure is wrong!), Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, and many more!
It’s great to see the ever-talented Lily Collins be apart of what looks like an awesome film franchise, after watching parts she auditioned for go respectively to KStew and Jlaw in the successful Twilight and Hunger Games series, a casting process, which like their movie counterparts, probably involved kids fighting to the death and a lot of (blood)sucker punches. So glad that Lily has her own book-based mega-blockbuster franchise to call her own!
Mortal Instruments is about a girl who discovers that she is half angel, and must use her newfound powers to protect the world from demons: Greater Demons, Lesser Demons, and (we hope) Telemarketers. If the movie is anything like the crossbow and flamethrower-filled trailer, it should turn the audience into a City of Bonerz!
