As players get stronger and bigger, NFL games are becoming more dangerous than ever. The league is currently considering a new concussion policy to make sure players are protected from injury.
The NFL Sidelines Concussion Exam is a test that medics would be required to perform if the NFL changes its policy.
Dr. Richard Ellenbogen, a neurosurgeon at the University of Washington School of Medicine, says that it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to diagnosing concussions.
├óΓé¼┼ôIf you├óΓé¼Γäóre in doubt, take the player out. Sit ’em down and let them recover. If you let them recover, they have a much better chance of recovering [long-term] and have better long-term prognosis.├óΓé¼┬¥
The league DEFINITELY needs to pass this! Players safety should be a top priority!
