Teen Basketball Player Stands Up To Teammates Against Racial Slur During Pregame Chant


Way to stand up for what you believe is the right thing to do.
15 year old Tyra Batts has gotten her basketball team suspended for using a racial slur.
During a pre-game chant, Batts, the only African American player, and her teammates huddled together.
Then the chanted, “one, two, three, n*****.”
Batts then reported the incident to her school, Kenmore East in New York.
Her teammates were suspended for two days.
