If New Bill Is Passed, Wolves Will No Longer Be Protected

Senators from Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah are proposing a new bill that could see wolves being removed from the endangered species protection program.
Originally introduced to the Northern Rockies in the early 1990’s, there are now more than 1,700 wolves living in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and parts of Oregon and Washington.
Believing that the states can manage the population of wolves, the senators’ bill would allow wolves to be considered predators again and be shot on site.
Wouldn’t this just lead back to the population declining again!? At which point wolves would need to become protected again in the future?
Ranchers and farmers complain that they’re pests, hurting their livestock and farms, but wolves were hear long before us.
Why harass and harm them when they don’t bother us?
