Depending on your point of view, this is either really uncomfortable to watch or a damn right laugh riot!
Last night, during the South Carolina Republican primary debate, the evening was opened up by CNN’s John King with a question to Newt Gingrich — a very personal question. With no apologies, John dove right into the most recent scandal concerning Gingrich, specifically his ex-wife’s recent interview asserting that Gingrich had an affair while they were married and then tried to convince her to accept an open marriage — all while she was battling MS.
As we’re sure you can imagine, Gingrich didn’t take to kindly to that line of questioning and laid into the “elite media” for focusing more on scandal than politics. Check out the video (above) to watch Newt lash out at John King for bringing the topic up.
Whatever. He got exactly what he wanted from the question being asked and he knows it. Does anyone know what Mitt Romney said last night? Rick Santorum? NOPE! Everyone is gonna be talking about poor Newt Gingrich and that damn liberal reporter being mean to him. Should we just pronounce him the winner of this round now?
