Not everyone understands that saying racist things, even as jokes, is still awfulsauce — which blows our minds in this day and age, especially with Twitter!
NFL’s Darnell Dockett, an Arizona defensive end, tweeted out an awful joke (as in it was both racist AND sucked!) and now totally refuses to apologize for it!
Let’s all go down the rabbit hole! His original racist tweet said:
Apple has a new device out for Chinese people. The iOpener.

Usually when people tweet something that ignorant, the backlash has them apologizing right away! Not in this case, though — Darnell is sticking to his super racist guns:

All of that is just the worst!
Honestly, we’re torn here. We’re torn between not wanting him to apologize until he’s REALLY sorry… or him being forced to apologize even as just a sign of defeat — because no matter what, his joke was unacceptable!
Maybe we’ll get a sincere apology when he’s done dropping philosophy knowledge:
