The NFL DID Have Ray Rice's Elevator Video After All! Here's The Proof!

no title
Those sneaky NFL front office people!
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has said multiple times that he and his people never saw the video of Ray Rice knocking out his now-wife Janay Rice.
But they had the video all along!
A law enforcement official revealed that he DID INDEED send the tape to the league security chief, Jeffrey Miller, back in April!
And in a 12-second voicemail, a woman confirmed the receipt of the footage, adding, “You’re right. It’s terrible.”
However, what happened between then and when Rice was only given a two-game suspension is a mystery. The official added:

“Since the NFLPA and NFL have launched separate investigations into the league and the Ravens’ handling of Ray Rice’s case, I want to make a few things clear. No one from the NFL ever asked me for the inside-elevator video. I mailed it anonymously to Jeff Miller because he’s their head of security. I attached a note saying: ├óΓé¼╦£Ray Rice elevator video. You have to see it. It’s terrible.’ I provided a number for a disposable cellphone and asked for confirmation that it was received. I knew there was a possibility Mr. Miller may not get the video, but I hoped it would land in the right hands.”

We’re a little curious why a law enforcement officer would need to send that tape anonymously, and why they wouldn’t just give it to the NFL outright. Open investigation or not!
But, in the end he did his part. We can’t say the same for the NFL…
