NFL Players Association Makes Big Move In Contract Negotiations

Things are getting tense in the NFL right now…
The Players Association filed paperwork to decertify as a union on Friday — which will likely move the labor dispute between the players and league into the courtroom.
The owners had stated before this happened that they would lock the players out if they failed to reach an agreement before Friday at midnight.
If the lockout does indeed happen, the players will sue the league for restraint-of-trade antitrust violations. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Drew Brees have all agreed to be the lead plaintiffs in the case.
Yikes — we hope they resolve it soon!
