Jeff Demps is a former Florida Gator running back and Olympic silver medalist!
He is a U.S. track star but now several NFL teams are looking at him and wringing their hands all evil like.
Who will scoop him up?!
Demps’ agent said:
“I’m excited because it’s a good story. The guy goes to the Olympics to pursue one of his dreams and he succeeded. Now, he wants to go win a Super Bowl. How can you fault a kid like that?”
He originally went undrafted after announcing he was going to concentrate on track field and the Olympics.
Demps has 2,470 career yards rushing and 23 touchdowns in his four seasons with the Gators, so he’s a talented athlete all around.
Several teams are trying to snatch him up because “he’s speed.”
The agent continued:
“The NFL is about speed and there├óΓé¼Γäós so much you can do with a guy like that if used correctly. He could be a kick returner, slot receiver, stuff like that. There├óΓé¼Γäós gadget plays teams can come up with. If used correctly, he could definitely be a weapon.”
Best of luck getting drafted!
Who wouldn’t want an Olympian?
