Niall Horan and Hailee Steinfeld are dunzo.
The One Direction singer and the Pitch Perfect actress were friends for some time before getting romantic — they were first spotted on a public date in January.
Unfortunately, as much as they tried to make it work, their hectic show business schedules just wouldn’t allow it.
A source told UsWeekly:
“They split months ago. Niall wrapped up his tour and had more free time, but Hailee’s work schedule really ramped up, so they didn’t have time for a relationship. They still have a lot of love for each other.”
Well, it’s tough to complain about too much success on Hailee’s end — but sad it means this love connection can’t quite hold.
Of course, not all the breakups this year were quite so amicable…
