Nothing says romance like a close encounter with a lion!
Before embarking on the adventure of marriage with an upcoming televised special on TLC, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo set off on an African adventure on Monday. And within hours of touching down in Tanzania, they were greeted by a fierce furry native!

He said when tweeting this pic.
It seems like the couple’s extended family are excited to see more photos from their trip.
Lachey’s brother, Drew, suggested on Twitter that Minnillo bring a circular polarizer for her camera.
Minnillo Tweeted that she was plenty prepared: “I got a new lens, a mono-pod, and the backpack to carry! @thedrewlachey would be so proud! Haha!”
