Nick Carter is taking a couple months off to support his pregnant wife!
The former Backstreet Boys member had an amazing season on Dancing With The Stars, placing second to Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin on Tuesday night’s finale.

After the show, the 35-year-old told People he will be going out on a two-month solo tour before the baby is born. Before he leaves for the road, though, he’ll be spending time with his love Lauren Kitt:
“I’m taking a couple of well-needed months off to be with my wife and really cater to her in this time. And then, in April, we’re going to take a little time off there as well for when the baby comes.”
And then… Backstreet’s back! Carter will be joining the rest of the band out on tour later in 2016.
That’s quite the busy schedule, especially with a newborn!
As we reported, the couple found out they are expecting a little boy on a DWTS episode last month — and they were very happy about the results. Nick said:
“My wife really wanted a boy, so I’m just happy it turned out that way. But we would have been happy either way.”
Kitt added:
“We just wanted a healthy baby, but preferably a healthy baby boy.”
