This is cool!
In honor of their 30th anniversary, i-D will shoot its next editorial spread in front of a live audience, to be featured in the magazine’s spring issue.
Shot by Nick Knight, the spread will feature numerous fashion icons who have graced the glossy’s pages over its 30 year life. The shoot will work as part of Knight’s ongoing “SHOWstudio – Fashion Revolution,” exhibit in London’s Somerset House, and will run from today through December 20th when the exhibition is complete.
The ongoing photoshoot will feature Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Alexander McQueen, among others, and will be visible to audiences through two-way mirrors.
Can’t make it to London to catch the show? Don’t fret!
The spectacle will also be streamed live on the photographer’s site, showstudio.com. The i-D project is being called “100 Portraits,” and is meant to echo photos that Knight took in celebration of the magazine’s 5th anniversary back in 1985.
Can’t wait to check it out!
