That’s all Sir Mix-a-Lot had to say after seeing Nicki Minaj‘s new music video for Anaconda!
The song, with a music video that just came out two days ago and already has 25.5 million hits on YouTube, heavily samples Sir Mix-a-Lot’s 1992 smash hit Baby Got Back, so it’s only natural that he’d form an opinion.
We bet Nicki was pretty nervous about how the 51-year-old rapper was going to take this updated version of his song — especially since it won a Grammy when it first came out 22 years ago!
Well, Nicki needn’t worry any longer, because Sir Mix-a-Lot took to Twitter to share his praise for the current queen of rap, saying:

We know that the 31-year-old rapper is famous herself, but it still must be pretty amazing to have an idol of yours compliment your work!
Plus, we’re pretty in love with the music video ourselves, so it’s nice to see Nicki get some positive reviews.
We so can’t wait to see her perform at the VMAs! Twice!
