Just days ago, the lyric video to Nicki Minaj‘s song Only was released and it caused an uproar for many reasons, the biggest being that it appears to reflect Nazi propaganda from WWII.
And by ‘appears’ we mean you can’t miss it.
After giving the news time to simmer, the rapper released her own side of the story on Twitter, saying:
The artist who made the lyric video for “Only” was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called “Metalocalypse” & Sin City.

We accept Nicki’s apology, but this whole thing sounds shady, like it was publicity-spun. There’s no way that no one involved saw the direct connection when everyone else in the world did immediately. The Young Money team is waayyyy too smart for that.
As for the Metalocalypse comparison, do these look similar to you???
