Whispers are swirling that Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty supposedly might not be living their fairy tale ending after all. And the source of this latest drama? None other than controversial hip-hop commentator DJ Vlad, who decided to light a match on social media with some thus-far-unconfirmed rumors… and then watch the flames spread.

According to Vlad, there’s reason to believe the couple could be living separately, which immediately had fans clutching their wigs. His evidence? Well, he pointed to a screenshot allegedly from the New York sex offender registry showing Petty supposedly living NOT in Nicki’s lavish Hidden Hills mansion, but in a much more modest home in Jamaica, Queens.

Uh, well, that is QUITE the rumor! And again, a TOTALLY unconfirmed one…
But as you can imagine, Nicki’s fiercely loyal fanbase was not having it. Many rushed to defend their queen, suggesting that maybe the address situation isn’t what it seems and could even be a strategic move to keep her real residence under wraps. But Vlad was not backing down, doubling and tripling down in a way that only he can, at one point saying:
“That’s not how the sex offender registry works, idiot. It’s where you’re physically located. You think Nicki and their son are living with him in that tiny house? Barbs are really the stupidest people on earth.”
Yikes. And he didn’t stop there, adding:
“When you’re a registered sex offender, you’re required to state where you’re physically located. This is why he got arrested when he moved to Hidden Hills and didn’t update his address. Denial is not just a river in Africa.”
Still not convinced? Vlad insisted he’s done his homework:
“I personally confirmed his new address on the sex offender registry website. You can check it yourself — it’s a public site.”
Hmmm…
Of course, Petty’s legal history has been a point of controversy for years, stemming from a 1995 conviction and later legal issues related to registration requirements. Despite that, he and Nicki have stayed publicly united since tying the knot in 2019 and welcoming their child in 2020.

But before everyone jumps to conclusions, let’s be real ONCE AGAIN: there is absolutely no confirmed proof that these two have split. This could be smoke with no fire, or just another case of social media detectives going a little too hard.
