Next time Nicki Minaj travels overseas to England, she may need to hire a few new additions to her security team.
The hip-hop star was reportedly shocked by the efforts her fans went through to sneak a peek of her when she landed in London, explaining:
“From the second we arrived in London, there were paparazzi everywhere. Kids were camped outside the hotel.”
Fans got so crazy that the hotel staff had to build a barrier outside to keep fans from rushing at the star when she left the hotel, saying:
“They stood behind it for hours and hours… but something weird happened every time they saw me, like, ‘Oh my God, there she is! I need to get her right now.'”
What can we say, Nicki? That’s the price of fame! And can you really blame them? You ARE Nicki Minaj after all.
One group of devoted fans did however manage to get in the hotel and wake up her makeup artist, as the star said:
“Seven girls banged on her door and they were like, ‘Take us to Nicki!'”
Okay, that’s a little bit too far. Let the gurl sleep so she has enough energy to wow you all in concert!
