Well, this certainly adds more legitimacy to the exciting reports that Nicki Minaj has joined the judges panel of American Idol!
While the rapper has yet to publicly confirm her role on the reality competition, sources close to production have revealed that it has not been an easy process working out the contract…but it’s not her fault!
Instead, it’s because of her recent endorsement deal with Pepsi, as Idol is sponsored by Coca Cola!
However, a similar situation arose with Jennifer Lopez and her Fiat commercial deal conflicted with Ford’s sponsorship of the series, and thankfully that worked out all right!
So we’d say that the chances are PRETTY high that Her Minajesty will be okay!
But who else will be joining she and Mariah?!
Insiders claim that despite Nick Jonas and Pharrell rumors, the show WILL be re-formatting again to accommodate FOUR judges, with Keith Urban and Enrique Iglesias being the top choices!
Meanwhile, Randy Jackson will be bumped into role as mentor!

Obviously, they are all still in the midst of trying to work out all of the details and legal mumbo jumbo, but we WILL say this!
