Nicki Minaj Wants The Government To 'Give FREE Health Care To All'

While mourning the loss of Moesha actress Yvette Wilson, Nicki Minaj got political and expressed her disappointment in the American health care system.
The 48-year-old actress passed away after a long battle with cervical cancer for which she had to ask for donations in order to pay for her treatment. In a series of tweets, Nicki advocated for the government to provide free healthcare for every citizen by writing:

“What├óΓé¼Γäós sad is that when Yvette was bringing home the bacon, the gov├óΓé¼Γäót was probably taking millions. On her deathbed though, #Nowheretobefound.
That should be a God given right! Even with Obama Care, too much involved. Just give FREE health care to all. @barackobama What can we do?
@BarackObama I wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót mind the millions they took if it was going to healthcare. Why should a poor person struggle to pay for MEDS sir?”

Barack Obama didn’t respond with any answers, but Questlove of The Roots reached out to encourage her Minajesty to get involved. The famous percussionist tweeted:

“@NICKIMINAJ i personally know that the white house administration would LOVE for you to use ur tweet power to raise health care awareness”
@NICKIMINAJ seriously dm me, they need that energy you convey’d last night about Yvette Wilson’s health crisis! you can help!”

Change doesn’t happen by itself. If Mz. Minaj believes that every American deserves free health care, than she is the perfect person to advocate for it!
It sounds like Questlove not only wants her to keep talking about it on Twitter, but start taking action in Washington with him too.
Get it, gurl! Be the change you want to see!
