Such a great play and such a great fit for them, we think.
It’s been confirmed that James Franco and Nicole Kidman have signed on to star on Broadway this fall in a production of Tennessee Williams├óΓé¼Γäós Sweet Bird of Youth. For those of you who don’t know, it’s the story of a guy named Chance Wayne who returns to his hometown after trying to break into the movies, to reunite with his childhood sweetheart.
We’re not sure exactly who Nicole is poised to play, but we can only assume James will be taking on the role of Chance. Then again, according to reports, rehearsals are being scheduled around Franco’s fall class lineup at Yale. We imagined he’d have to leave permanently to play the lead.
Worth it, if you ask us. Allow us to quote our favorite line from the play:
“I think that hate is a feeling that can only exist where there is no understanding.”
Truer words were never written, we say.
We’re excited to see this. Are U?
