Nicole Kidman‘s relationship with her daughter Bella Cruise is on the mend!
How do we know this? Well, almost one year after the Oscar winner was absent from her adopted daughter’s wedding, Miz Kidman has met the 23-year-old’s husband Max Parker.

As you may recall, it’s been reported quite a bit over the years that Nicole’s relationship with her adopted children with Tom Cruise has supposedly been a turbulent one. In fact, following the 49-year-old’s split from the Top Gun actor, Bella and Connor chose to live with Tom and follow his chosen religion Scientology.
Still, it seems Nicole and Bella have been able to put their differences aside as the duo reportedly had an “emotional” reunion in the United Kingdom recently. On the mother/daughter meet up, a source dished to Woman’s Day:
“It was a very emotional moment for all of them, especially Nicole. It didn’t take long for her to burst into tears, and Bella soon followed.”
Sniff! Not to mention, it sounds like Nicole liked Bella’s man as the source added:
“Nic has been trying to build bridges with Bella since the start of the year. Nicole took an instant liking to Max and could see that he and Bella get on really well.”
Now that’s what we like to hear! Of course, this update comes months after Miz Cruise denied any estrangement between herself and her famous parents. We mean it took SEVERAL months for your mom to meet your husband — but hey, every family is different.
We’re just happy to see that things between Bella and Nicole are moving in a nice direction!
