We could glean a glimpse of Nicole Richie’s October DuJour magazine cover at the launch, but now we get to see the real thing.
For the main pic, the designer wore a MaxMara wool dress, Jacob & Co. cross necklace, and Kwiat jewels.
In the rest of the spread, Richie wears Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo, Winter Kate, Brian Atwood and Rag & Bone.
For the in-depth interview, the haute mama talks with Lindsay Silberman about her career, but definitely not her personal life.
Here are some HIGHlights:
On holding the first piece of jewelry she designed:
“It was unlike any feeling. I can├óΓé¼Γäót even├óΓé¼┬ªI can├óΓé¼Γäót even put it into words.”
On her Fashion Star role:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós my job to let them know I├óΓé¼Γäóm here for them, and if they have fears about showing their true colors, that I know exactly how that feels.”
On designs being chosen:
“Every season, I have pieces that I├óΓé¼Γäóm passionate about but for whatever reason the stores don├óΓé¼Γäót want them. You have to get used to it, show them another season. You have to let them go.” ├óΓé¼┬¿├óΓé¼┬¿
What a real answer! We rarely get to hear about the items that don’t get picked up!
