Yes, Nicollette Sheridan‘s legal war against ABC and Desperate Housewives is STILL going on, and YES, the courts are STILL not ruling in her favor!
And this time, it went as high up as the California Supreme Court!
As we all know, the actress’ now-two-year-old lawsuit began when she asserted that she was wrongfully fired after series creator Marc Cherry struck her during an argument over her dialogue. These claims have since been dismissed, while her case against the network and producers resulted in a mistrial. And although she filed for a re-trial, her request was rejected, which led her to appeal to the Supreme Court!
But its chief justice Tani Cantil-Sakayue has determined:

“The petition for review is denied. The request for an order requesting depublication of the opinion is denied.”

Yeesh!
We hate to say it, but we think it’s time for gurl to throw in the towel on this one!
But don’t hold your breath!
Because we’re hearing that she’ll probably be back in the courtroom with the argument that Desperate was in violation of labor codes when they sacked her!
Hopefully THIS approach will fare better for her…but we’re not holding our breath!
