We always knew this was going to get ugly.
To recap – earlier this week, Nicollette Sheridan’s wrongful termination/battery trial against Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry started up, and we were hearing that LOTS of big name folks would be called to testify.
Then, we were hearing that Nicollette herself might take the stand in her trial!
THEN, we learned that other Desperate Housewives actresses have been confirmed as witnesses who will testify AGAINST Nicollette!
Now, we’re hearing that Nicollette “burst into tears” during court yesterday…and that was even BEFORE Marc Cherry’s attorney presented his argument that her character had “run its course” on the show.
In response, Nicollette’s attorney argued that her firing from the show was “retaliatory termination by someone who knew what he wanted to do, when he wanted to do it.”
Nicollette is scheduled to testify this morning. Definitely stay tuned…..
