Niecy Nash Files For Divorce From Husband Of 8 Years- Were Her Graphic TV Sex Scenes To Blame?!

Niecy Nash is a single woman!

The 49-year-old comedian and actress has split from her longtime husband, Jay Tucker, and officially put her Los Angeles-area home up for sale. The news comes via DailyMail.com, who spoke exclusively to a source close to the couple about the breakup of what had been an eight-year marriage.

According to the insider, Nash’s relationship with Tucker had been rocky for at least the past couple years, with the celeb’s full body cosmetic surgery makeover and “extreme career ambitions” apparently causing quite a bit of tension within the relationship.

But even despite the apparent drama behind the scenes, Niecy was pure class in announcing the split, and in sharing the news with her Instagram followers in a thoughtful message (below):

“We believe in the beauty of truth. Always have. Our truth is that in this season of our lives, we are better friends than partners in marriage. Our union was such a gorgeous ride. And as we go our separate ways now, we feel fortunate for the love we share – present tense. Thank you all out there for your support of us as a couple over the last eight years. We are grateful.”

Nash had been spending quite a bit of time recently in New Orleans to film the hit TNT show Claws, and it’s apparently her time in the Big Easy that was at the center of the couple’s downfall. The source explained more to DailyMail.com, saying (below):

“Niecy got a brand new body right before she went to film Claws down in New Orleans and that’s when their troubles began. Jay was really uncomfortable with her graphic sex scenes on the show and that made their problems worse. They were living in two different cities and Jay expressed he didn’t like his wife being in New Orleans while he was in LA.”

Hmmm…

Tucker — who had previously been very visible on Niecy’s social media pages and with her at events around Hollywood and elsewhere — fell back from the forefront slowly over the past couple years as the two distanced themselves from each other. Once inseparable at the outset of their marriage in 2011, the couple eventually fell back more and more until, well, we find ourselves at this point now today.

It’s a big fall from grace for the once-tight pair, as the source notes (below):

“Niecy treated Jay like an American Express card, she never left home without him. She loved doting on her husband and bragging about how she had a man. She would talk so much about her relationship and how she knew how to keep a man happy, when her relationship started to crumble it was embarrassing to her.’

But, perhaps most interestingly here comes the fact that Niecy may soon be on the prowl again!

The insider added that she loves love, and, well, you know where that often leads (below):

“Niecy loves love and she loves being married. So don’t expect much grass to grow under her feet. I’m certain she’ll be declaring that the third time is the charm and talking marriage again sometime in the near future.”
