Amidst reports of production probably cutting Ryan Seacrest’s American Idol salary this year, original producer Nigel Lythgoe has a solution!
If the AI team does in fact cut his salary, Nigel is willing to pay the difference out of pocket!! In-sane!! But admirable.
Ryan is definitely the support beam of the show and without him.. well… we’re not entirely sure what would happen to the show…
Nigel agrees! He says Ryan is “very important” to the show and doesn’t even want to test the waters without him.
Question is… would Ryan be able to accept that?? Of course, Nigel’s super rich so who cares! Then again, so its Ryan..
